MMOexp Elden Ring: Elden Ring: it's good it's being praised by people that, however it comes with a few limitations, such as the fact that you aren't able to properly stop the game. This isn't a new feature for games that are similar to Souls however, If the hype surrounding Elden Ring means that this is the first one of Elden Ring Runes these that you're considering (or in the event that you've grown older or your life circumstances have changed since the last time you played) You should be aware that you are able to stop the game at any time, you only need to complete something first.
For those who are just beginning to join us While Souls-like games allow you to access menus similar to a normal gaming experience, they don't actually stop the action which means that even if you've located a place that's secure and comfortable to settle down, your juggle of inventory could be interrupted by an arrow in the face. While earlier, strictly single-player games offered pause-like solutions such as accessing specific photo modes and quit menus but ever since Miyazaki and Co. introduced online features to the games, it's been impossible to stop them using normal methods (the only exception is Sekiro).
Although I appreciate the intention in this case--as is the case with many design choices in Souls games however, the brutality is what makes me dislike this with all my heart. I'm a father of two children who is also employed in a position where my attention is constantly diverted in a myriad of directions. While I'd like to play a game with no interruptions, my day is full of interruptions, and playing these kinds of games can be a nightmare for me. Elden Ring is no exception.
So I'm eager to test this new mod, which according to PC Gamer reports is now available to download. It's called Pause The Game, and developed by TechieW It does exactly what its name implies and also adds a real, functioning pause mode for Elden Ring.
However, there's an issue that one of the reasons why the game can't stop playing is because it technically cannot, as its online components won't be able to function, therefore in order to Pause The Game you need to turn off the Easy Anti-Cheat service, which will then start Elden Ring in an offline mode. This allows you to play, but at the expense of being unable to play online with the game's components however for Elden Ring Items buy certain players--like me!--that's an option worth taking.
